Tighten the brake pipe flare nub by using the (SST).

Torque to 12.9-21.5 Nm (113-190 inch lbs.).

3. After installation, add brake fluid, bleed air, and check for fluid leakage. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair

Overhaul

CAUTION:  The brake master cylinder is made of aluminum, and can be easily damaged by tightening in a vise. When securing the master cylinder in a
vise, tighten only the flange of the master cylinder.
