Engine Control Module: Testing and Inspection

CAUTION:   The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) terminal voltages vary with change in measuring conditions and vehicle conditions. Always carry
out a total inspection of the input systems, output systems, and PCM to determine the cause of trouble. Otherwise, a wrong diagnosis will be made.

USING SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL ENGINE SIGNAL MONITOR

Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Replacement

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the center console.
3. Disconnect the PCM connector.
