C. Assemble the SST.
D. Secure the shock absorber in the SST.
E. Compress the coil spring by using the SST and remove the nut.

INSPECTION

Inspect all parts and replace as necessary.

Shock Absorber 

Check the following and replace if necessary.
A. Inspect for damage and oil leakage.
B. Secure a handle to the piston rod, and compress and expand the shock piston at least three times. Verify that the operational force does not

change and that there is no unusual noise.
