Valve Body: Service and Repair
On-Vehicle Replacement

REMOVAL 

1. Clean the transaxle exterior thoroughly with a steam cleaner or cleaning solvents.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Drain the ATF and engine coolant into separate containers.
4. Remove the splash shield.
5. Remove the oil cooler hose and radiator hose.

6. Remove the control valve body cover and gasket.

7. Disconnect the solenoid connectors and transaxle fluid temperature sensor connector.

8. Remove the control valve body assembly.

INSTALLATION 

1. Align the manual plate and the manual valve.
