Input Shaft: Service and Repair
Disassembly

1. Measure the thrust clearance of all gears before disassembly, referring to Preinspection. 
2. Disassemble in the order shown in the illustration, referring to the following notes:

Bearing (4th Gear End)

1. Support the primary shaft to keep it from falling.

2. Remove the 4th gear end bearing by using the Special Service Tool (SST).
