Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection
On-Vehicle Inspection
1.
Warm up engine and run at idle.
2.
Listen for operational clicks at each injector with screwdriver or stethoscope.
3.
If no sound is heard, check wiring to injector and measure voltage at PCME terminals 3U, 3W, 3X, 3Y, and 3Z. Refer to Computers and Control
Systems.
4.
If voltages are OK, check injector resistance.
