Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Accelerator Pedal And Throttle Cable

1.

Depress accelerator pedal to floor and check that throttle valve is fully open. Correct with adjustment bolt if needed.

2.

Inspect accelerator cable play between bracket and attachment at throttle body. If not 0.040 - 0.120 in (1 - 3 mm), adjust at threaded sleeve.
