1.

Unplug sensor connector.

2.

Connect an ohmmeter across terminals C and D.

3.

Insert a 0.004 in (0.1 mm) feeler gauge between throttle stopper screw and throttle valve lever.  Ensure that continuity exists.

4.

Replace first gauge with a 0.008 in (0.2 mm) gauge.  Ensure that continuity does not exist.

5.

If not as specified, adjust throttle sensor and recheck.  Refer to  Adjustments.

6.

If still out of specification after adjustment, replace sensor.
