Do not use an ohmmeter for inspection of the air bag module, it may cause an accidental deployment of the air bag.

When carrying a live (unactivated) air bag module, make sure the trim cover is pointed away from your body to prevent personal injury in the
event of an accidental deployment.

When placing a live air bag module on any surface, always face the trim cover upward to reduce the motion of the module if it is accidentally
deployed.

When handling a deployed air bag module, wear gloves a safety glasses. The deployed air bag module may contain deposits of sodium hydroxide,
a caustic byproduct of the combustion gas.

When an air bag module is to be disposed of, follow the procedure recommended for the specific situation.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation note.
