DESCRIPTION

If abnormal seat movement occurs on a vehicle -- forward movement during deceleration or braking, backward during acceleration -- please adjust the 
seat track according to the procedures below.

TRACK CARRIER INSPECTION/ADJUSTMENT

1.

Check to see if the track carrier is loose. If it is, remove the E-ring and pin.

2.

Bend the track ears in to reduce clearance and improve the fit of the carrier in the track.

NOTE:
When bending the ears, be careful not to damage the track or carrier.

3.

Perform the above steps on each track.

4.

Reinstall pins and E-rings and check for tightness.
