Fuel Rail: Description and Operation
Injectors And Related Components
The fuel rails are reservoirs that supply fuel at equal pressure to all the injectors. Their volume is larger than that of a fuel hose or tube so that when one
injector opens, it doesn't cause a pressure drop in the fuel supplied to the other injectors. Injectors are installed in the intake manifold and held in place
by the fuel rail.
