Idle/Bypass Air Control Valve: Service and Repair

BAC Valve Replacement

1.

Remove the BAC valve in the sequence described below:

"1"  Water hoses
"2"  Air hoses
"3"  BAC valve connector
"4"  Bolts (2)
"5"  BAC valve

2.

Replace the BAC valve.

3.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:  

When installing the BAC valve, tighten bolts to 19-30 Nm (1.9-3.1 m-kg, 14-22 ft. lbs.).
After replacing the BAC valve, check for water leakage.
