Vacuum Chamber And Check Valve (VRIS)

1.

Disconnect hoses from vacuum chamber.

2.

Plug one port and connect vacuum pump to the other.

3.

Apply at least 10" Hg (254mm Hg) vacuum and hold.

Chamber should hold vacuum without leaking down.

If not, replace vacuum chamber.

4.

Remove check valve.

5.

Blow through check valve and verify that valve passes air in one direction only.

6.

If air passes both ways, replace check valve.

7.

Install check valve with arrow towards vacuum source.

SOLENOID VALVE CHECK

1.

Disconnect hoses from solenoid valve and remove valve.

Solenoid Valve -- No Voltage Applied

2.

Blow through valve from port "B".

^

Air should flow through valve from "B" to the filtered vent.
