Acceleration Sensor: Testing and Inspection
CIRCUIT
1.
Remove rear seat and the control unit cover.
2.
Disconnect AAS control unit connectors.
3.
Connect ohmmeter between terminal F and body ground, Fig. 13.
4.
Check that there is continuity with accelerator pedal depressed 7/8 of its travel.
5.
If there is no continuity, check accelerator switch and wiring harness.
UNIT
1.
Connect ohmmeter to accelerator switch terminals.
2.
Check that there is continuity with accelerator pedal depressed 7/8 of its travel.
