Countershaft

1. Remove the countershaft center bearing with the SST.
2. Remove the countershaft.

3. Move the spacer away from the diaphragm spring with a chisel.

NOTE:  
a. Replace the spacer and bearing as a set. 
b. Do not reuse the diaphragm spring.

4. Remove the spacer, diaphragm spring, and friction gear with the SST.

Mainshaft

1. Remove the main drive gear from the transmission case.
