NOTE: Note the routing of the seat wiring harness for installation.
3. Detach the wiring harness from the cushion.

Disconnect the SRS seat position sensor electrical connector.

Detach the wiring harness and electrical connector pin-type retainers.

Route out the wiring harness.
4. Remove the nut and safety belt buckle pretensioner.

Tightening Torque: 40 N.m {4.1 kgf.m, 30 ft.lbf}
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
6. Install the 60 percent bench seat.
NOTE: Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
7. Repower the SRS. See DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING.
8. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
