Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE:  A new vapor line assembly must be installed for a new pressure sensor to be installed.

3. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor and fuel line assembly.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Perform the Evaporative Emission Running Loss Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle Test. See DRIVE CYCLES.  See: Powertrain
