Automatic Transmission Extension Housing and Gasket Removal / Installation

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING AND GASKET REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

Removal

1. With the vehicle in neutral, position it on a hoist. 
2. Remove the rear propeller shaft. 
3. Remove the nuts.

4. Raise and support the transmission.

5. Remove the transmission mount.

(1) Remove the screws.
(2) Remove the transmission mount.

6. Remove the extension housing screws and studs.
