10. Install the oil strainer and a new oil pan gasket.
11. Connect the vehicle harness to the 16 pin transmission case electrical connector. Make sure the lock is fully engaged.
Note:

When filling a dry transmission and converter start with a minimum of 3.7 liters (4 quarts) of automatic transmission fluid.
12. Fill transmission with clean automatic transmission fluid to the correct fluid level.
13. Apply the parking brake and start the engine
14. Move the transmission range selector lever through all of the gears.
15. Check the transmission fluid level.
