Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
OIL FILTER ADAPTER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.
3. Drain the engine oil.
4. Remove the oil filter.
5. Remove the oil filter adapter and the gasket.
6. Clean and inspect the engine block and the adapter gasket mounting surfaces.
