Power Door Lock Actuator: Testing and Inspection
1. Remove the door trim panel and water deflector.
2. Disconnect the door lock actuator connector.
3. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the actuator.
4. If actuator does not operate, check the actuator connections and continuity of wire harness between lock switch and each actuator connector.
DOOR LOCK RELAYS
Inspection
1. Remove suspect relay.
2. For all unlock relay, check resistance between the relay terminal that connects to the B circuit and the relay terminal that connects to the P/O
circuit. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
For all lock relay, check resistance between the relay terminal that connects to the B circuit and the relay terminal that connects to the P/B circuit.
Resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
