Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair
Cruise Control Switch
NOTE
^
The left cruise control switch, right cruise control switch and wiring assembly can be serviced separately. The bulb for switch graphics
backlighting is not serviced separately. To service the bulb, replace the entire switch.
1. Disconnect both battery cables. Wait at least one minute before proceeding to allow the air bag backup power supply to discharge.
2. Remove driver air bag module.
3. Disconnect wiring connector(s).
4. Remove retaining screws and switch.
NOTE
^
Install ground eyelet under upper screw on right-hand switch. Position switch(es) on steering wheel and install four Phillips-head attaching
screws.
5. Reinstall switch.
