Fan Clutch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the fan shroud.
4. Remove the cooling fan clutch.
5. Remove the cooling fan.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the cooling fan and tighten the bolts to 6-8 Nm (53-70 inch lbs.)
2. Install the cooling fan clutch and tighten the bolts to 17-23 Nm (13-17 ft. lbs.)
3. Install the fan shroud and tighten the bolts to 6-8 Nm (53-70 inch lbs.).
4. Fill the coolant.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Bleed the cooling system.
