Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

1. Recover the refrigerant from the system.
2. Disconnect the compressor discharge line from the condenser at the spring lock coupling using SST. 

NOTE
-

Cap the openings to prevent entry of dirt and moisture.

3. Disconnect the liquid line from the condenser at the spring lock coupling using the SST. 

NOTE
-

Cap the openings to prevent entry of dirt and moisture.

4. Remove two nuts from lower mounting studs.
5. Tilt top of radiator rearward.
6. Remove the condenser as shown in the figure.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE
-

Add 30 ml (1 oz) of clean refrigerant oil directly into the condenser core after installation.
