Fluid - M/T: Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Park the vehicle on level ground.
1. Remove the oil level plug and washer.
2. Verify that the oil is near the bottom of the plug port.
3. If the oil level is low, add the specified amount of MERCON (R) or M-III through the oil level plug hole.
4. Install a new washer and the oil level plug. Tighten to 40 - 58 Nm (30 - 42 ft. lbs.).
