Fuel Injector: Service and Repair
WARNING: Before performing the following operation, release the fuel pressure from the fuel system to reduce the possibility of injury or
fire. When removing the fuel system components, keep sparks, cigarettes and open flames away from the fuel area. Always use new 0-rings.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
2. Check all parts and repair or replace, as necessary.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Air intake hose (not shown).
2. Upper intake manifold.
3. Fuel injector harness.
4. Fuel lines.
5. Fuel rail.
6. Fuel injectors.
7. Pressure regulator.
