Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Testing and Inspection
Inspection
1. Connect scan tool or NGS to data link connector.
2. Access IAC PID and check the PID values.
3. Measure the resistance of the idle air control solenoid.
Resistance: 6.0-13.0 @ 20°C (68°F)
4. If not as specified, replace the idle air control solenoid.
Tightening torque: 8-11 Nm (71-97 in.lbs.)
