Pressure Plate: Testing and Inspection
1. Inspect the clutch cover surface for burn marks, scores, or ridges.
2. Clean the clutch cover surface with a suitable commercial alcohol-based solvent.
NOTE: Measure the wear diagonally.
3. Inspect the flatness of the pressure plate contact surface with a straightedge.
