Wheel Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Toothed Ring
1. Jack up the vehicle and support it on safety stands.
2. Remove the rear axle speed sensor.
3. View the sensor rotor teeth through the sensor hole.
4. Rotate the rear axle and inspect for missing and damaged teeth.
5. Replace the sensor rotor as necessary.
NOTE: Dented or broken teeth could cause the anti-lock system to function when not required.
