Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Loosen the instrument panel and pull back from cowl.
3. Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to REMOVAL NOTE.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

The mounting bracket remains in place on the A/C evaporator housing.
1. Lift the actuator vertically approximately 12 mm (1/2 inch) to disengage it from the bracket and actuator shaft, then pull the actuator bar
towards the passenger compartment.
