Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
Front
REMOVAL
1. Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on safety stands.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Remove the nuts and bolts attaching the stabilizer bar to the end links.
4. Remove in the order shown in the illustration.
INSPECTION
Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to the following:
Stabilizer Bar (4)
1. Install the stabilizer bracket.
Tightening torque: 30 - 40 Nm (22 - 30 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the end link nuts.
Tightening torque: 40 - 55 Nm (30 - 40 ft. lbs.).
