Suspension Travel Bumper: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on safety stands.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Remove in the order shown in the illustration, referring to the following:
Hex Bolts (1)
Remove the hex bolts with a 10 mm hex socket.
INSPECTION
Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to the following:
Hex Bolts (10)
Install the hex bolts with a 10 mm hex socket.
Tightening torque:
Tighten RH side to 18 - 26 Nm (13 - 19 ft. lbs.).
Tighten LH side to 24 - 36 Nm (18 - 26 ft. lbs.).
