Oil Pan: Service and Repair

Oil Pan 

Removal 

1. Remove the engine from the vehicle. 

2. Remove the engine oil level indicator assembly.

1. Remove the engine oil level indicator.
2. Remove the bolts.
3. Remove the engine oil pan bolts and oil pan.

3. Remove the oil pan bolts and oil pan.

Installation 
 

1. Clean and inspect all mating surfaces.

2. NOTE:  The oil pan must be installed and the bolts tightened with four minutes of applying the silicone gasket and sealant.
