Air Intake Component Locations

Components

The air induction system supplies filtered air to the engine to mix with the fuel for combustion purposes. The air induction system consists of:

the engine air cleaner

the air cleaner element

the air cleaner outlet tube

the mass air flow (MAF) sensor

the throttle body the intake plenum

The engine air cleaner:

is chemically treated, pleated paper.

filters the engine intake air.
