8. Disconnect the wiring connector from the retainer on the lower intake manifold.
9. Disconnect the spring lock coupling.

10. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring connectors from the fuel injectors.

11. Remove the 1 bolt, 1 nut and the engine lifting eye.

12. Remove the eight bolts and the lower intake manifold. Discard the gasket.
13. Install in reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:  Tighten the lower intake manifold bolts in two stages and in the sequence shown.
