Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair
Manifold and Tube Assembly
1. Remove the A/C compressor.
2. Remove the air intake duct.
3. Remove the screw from the clamp on the A/C manifold and tube.
4. Disconnect the A/C manifold and tube from the receiver/drier.
5. Disconnect the A/C cut off switch connector.
6. Disconnect the A/C manifold and tube from the A/C condenser core and remove the A/C manifold and tube.
7. Remove the A/C pressure cut-off switch.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Lubricate the O-rings with refrigerant oil.
2. Apply Pipe Sealant to the threads of the A/C manifold retaining bolt.
