Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Coil Spring
REMOVAL
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the front disc brake rotor shield, refer to Brakes and Traction Control.
4. Remove the upper shock absorber nut/washer assembly and blushing.
5. Remove the front shock absorber.
(1) Remove the two nuts.
(2) Remove the front shock absorber.
6. Remove the front stabilizer bar link nut.
7. Use a coil spring compressor tool or equivalent to compress the coil spring.
