Make sure the caliper pin boots are correctly seated to prevent damage to the guide pins.

1. Position the brake caliper and install the 2 brake caliper pin bolts.

Tighten to 36 N-m (3.7 kgf-m, 27 ft-lbf).

2. sing 2 new copper washers, position the brake hose and install the brake caliper flow bolt.

Tighten to 34 N-m (3.5 kgf-m, 25 ft-lbf).

3. Bleed the brake caliper.
4. Test the brake system for normal operation.

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the brake pads.
2. Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts and the brake caliper anchor plate.

^

To install, tighten to 115 N-m (11.7 kgf-m, 85 ft-lbf).

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
