Removal and Installation

WARNING:  All safety belt assemblies (including retractors, belt tension sensors [BTS] [if equipped], buckles, shoulder belt height adjusters [if
equipped], child safety seat tether attachments and attaching hardware) should be inspected after any collision. All new belt assemblies should
be installed unless a qualified technician finds the assemblies show no damage and operate correctly. Belt assemblies not in use during a
collision should also be inspected and new assemblies installed if either damage or incorrect operation is noted.

1. Position the front seats to allow access to the front center safety belt bolt
2. For Cab Plus, remove the safety belt bolt cover.
3. Remove the safety belt bolt

Tightening Torque: 55 N.m (5.6 kgf.m, 41 ft.lbf)

NOTE:  The Cab Plus, and regular cab safety belts route differently. Note safety belt position for correct installation.

4. Route the safety belt through the seat cushion trim cover and remove.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
6. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
