The air bag indicator might not light until approximately 30 seconds after the ignition switch has been turned from the OFF to the ON position.
This is the time required fro the RCM to complete the testing of the SRS. If the air bag indicator is inoperative and a SRS fault exists, a chime will
sound in a pattern of 5 sets of 5 beeps. If this occurs, the air bag indicator and any SRS fault discovered must be diagnosed and repaired.Clear all
RCM and OCS module DTCs using the IDS or equivalent tester.
10. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.

Removal and Installation
WARNING:

All safety belt assemblies (including retractors, belt tension sensor [BTS] [if equipped], buckles, shoulder belt height adjusters [if
equipped], child safety seat tether attachments and attaching hardware) should be inspected after every collision. All new belt assemblies
should be installed unless a qualified technician finds the assemblies show no damage and operate correctly. Belt assemblies not in use
during a collision should also be inspected and new assemblies installed if either damage or incorrect operation is noted. Failure to follow
these instructions could increase the risk of injury in collisions.
1. Remove the rear door trim panel. See INTERIOR TRIM - COMPONENT VIEW.
2. Remove the bolt and safety belt buckle.

To install, tighten to 40 N.m (4.1 kgf.m, 30 ft.lbf).
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
