WHEEL SPEED SENSOR - REAR

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and the wheel speed sensor.

To install, tighten to 27 Nm (2.8 kgf-m, 20 ft-lbf).

Note:

Plug the sensor cavity and thoroughly clean the sensor mounting surface.

Inspect the anti-lock brake sensor O-ring for damage; lightly lubricate the O-ring with axle lubricant

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
