6. Install the selector lever cable into the bracket and install the clip.
7. Connect the transmission selector lever cable to the manual control lever.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Remove the 1.4 kg (3 lb) weight.
Caution:

To prevent damage, do not adjust the transmission shift cable in any position other than (D).
10. Verify that the vehicle starts in PARK or NEUTRAL and that backup lamps illuminate in REVERSE. If not, repeat steps 1 through 7 and perform
a digital transmission range sensor adjustment.
