Propeller Shaft Front Removal / Installation

PROPELLER SHAFT FRONT (4X4) REMOVAL / INSTALLATION 

1. With the vehicle, in neutral, raise and support the vehicle.

2. Index the front companion flange to the front propeller shaft.

3. Index the transfer case companion flange to the front propeller shaft.

4. Remove the front propeller shaft-to-transfer case bolts and retainers.

5. Remove the front propeller shaft-to-front axle bolts.
6. Remove the front propeller shaft.
7. Install in reverse order of removal.
