NOTE:
If both slide bars are replaced, use the left slide bar part number as the part number main cause.
Seat Repair Procedure Inspection
SEAT REPAIR PROCEDURE INSPECTION
1.
Verify the condition.
2.
Inspect the top and bottom plastic surfaces of the front seat belt buckle support "slide bar" assembly for damaged. (Refer to Fig 1).

If the plastic sleeve is damaged, obtain a new "slide bar" assembly. Proceed to Step 1 of the removal instructions.
NOTE:
Do not attempt to sand or file the plastic sleeve.

If the "slide bar" sleeve shows no damage check for "slide bar" lock-up.

Remove the Torx bolt retaining the "slide bar" to the floor.

If the seat can be adjusted, obtain two (2) screw and washer assemblies, two (2) torque-prevailing nuts (listed in the Parts Information
section) and proceed to step 1 of the removal instructions.

If the seat still will not adjust, look for another reason for the seat being inoperable (e.g. a detached or broken assist spring) and repair as
required.
NOTE:
Do not replace the "slide bar" or sleeve.
