NOTE: 

The front edge of the bracket must be used for the vertical reference line. This will position the bracket will be relocated properly when it is
installed in step 9.

Using the scribed reference line as a guide:

Measure exactly 4.0 mm parallel to the base reference line and mark the track support in two (2) places

Scribe a work line between both marks. Refer to Fig. 5.

Carefully grind both rivet heads off the bracket. Drive out the remaining portion of the rivets through the bracket and track support.

NOTE: 

To ensure the support bracket is not damaged, drive out the remaining portion of the rivets through the bracket first, then through the track.

Align the bracket to the vertical and horizontal work lines and clamp in place (refer to Fig. 6).

Using the holes in the relocated bracket as a guide, drill two (2) 1/4" (6.35 mm) diameter holes through the support of the inboard track assembly.
Remove the clamp and the bracket from the track support (refer to Fig. 6).

7.

Scribe two (2) vertical work lines connecting the top and bottom of each set of holes. Carefully file out the metal to form slots (refer to Fig. 7).

8.

Remove any metal burrs from the slots.
