Vacuum Flows Through Sensor When Cold
Bimetal sensor
1. Connect a vacuum pump to the Bimetal Sensor vacuum source and apply vacuum.
Specification: 54 kPa (406 mmHg, 16 in Hg)
2. Bring the temperature of the Bimetal Sensor below 24°C (75°F).
3. Verify that the Fresh Air Duct Valve goes to the heated air position.
4. If not as specified, replace the Bimetal Sensor.
