Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal Note.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Note.

1. Disconnect the high-tension leads from the ignition coil by squeezing the locking tabs on the lead by hand. Use a twisting and pulling motion to
free the boot from terminal. Do not pull on the wire.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the ignition coil.
3. Remove the bolt and the EGR vacuum regulator from the ignition coil.
4. Remove the bolts and the ignition coil.
