Install ignition lock gear. Lubricate with grease. Refer to Fig. 22.
NOTE:
Gear is properly aligned if last tooth of gear is aligned with last tooth of lock actuator.

Install lock housing bearing. Lubricate with grease. Refer to Fig. 23.
NOTE:
With lock actuator in 12 o'clock position, position the lock housing bearing with the tang inboard and in the 5 o'clock position in the lock cylinder.
Rotate bearing counterclockwise until Double-D slot of bearing is aligned with the lock gear.

Install plastic bearing retainer. Refer to Fig. 24.
15.
Install ignition lock cylinder in lock cylinder housing.
NOTE:
Install key warning chime and anti-theft contact in key cylinder housing (if applicable).

Install shift lever cover.
