17. Remove the torque converter access plate.
18. Remove the three starter bolts.
19. Secure the starter aside.
Caution: The oil pan fits tightly between the transmission spacer plate and oil pump pickup tube. Use care when removing the oil pan to avoid
damaging either part.
20. Remove the oil pan bolts and lower the pan.
21. Remove the oil pump.
1). Remove the bolt.
22. Remove the oil pan and oil pump as an assembly.
