Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
Left Hand Exhaust Manifold

LEFT HAND EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL / INSTALLATION 

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. See LIFTING.

3. Remove the nuts.

4. Lower the vehicle.

5. Disconnect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
6. Remove the oil level indicator tube assembly, and the intake manifold support bracket.

Remove the bracket nut

7. Remove the bolts and the nuts.
8. Remove the exhaust manifold and the exhaust manifold gasket.
9. Position the exhaust manifold and the exhaust manifold gasket.
